Remembering Rev. Jenny Seeley

Rev. Jenny Seeley was a beloved minister at the Metaphysical Chapel of Life.




She first joined the Chapel as a member on August 19, 2019, and served as a minister from her novitiate ordination on October 31, 2021, until her progression to nonphysical on December 31, 2023.


We are sharing much love and healing with Jenny's family, friends, loved ones, her Divinely Unified and Uniquely Sacred communities, and with our Chapel community as we navigate her sudden physical departure Sunday morning. 


​As a metaphysical community, we know there is no such thing as 'death'—that we merely transition from one form to another, from physical to nonphysical. We know we can still share time and space with Jenny, share love with her, and feel her love in return. 

And in that knowing, as human beings, we also experience grief and sadness at the loss of her physical form among us. 


Along with her many other studies and endeavors, Jenny was excited about studying Jesus and the Bible. As we read in Romans 12, we mourn with those who mourn, weep with those who weep—and we rejoice, smile, and feel great love recalling the joy, laughter, and encouragement she brought our community and world.

Celebration of Life

A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Greenbrier Community Church in Chesapeake. A few photos are included below.​

During Jenny's celebration of life, her siblings led us all in sharing the phrase so many heard — "Welcome to my house."
