Overview of Our Mobile App

If you’ve not seen it yet, you can now engage with the Chapel website, events, blogs, and online groups via the Spaces by Wix mobile app. There’s a screen-share overview video below, and step-by-step written instructions below to help you get plugged in. Feel free to comment below if you have any questions!

Guide to the Spaces by Wix App: Metaphysical Chapel of Life



Step 1: Download the App

  • Open your device's App Store (Apple) or Google Play Store (Android).

  • Search for "Spaces by Wix".

  • Download and install the app on your mobile phone or tablet.


Step 2: Sign Up or Log In

  • Open the app and select "Sign Up" if you are new, or "I Already Have a Wix Account" if you have previously registered on the website.

  • You can continue using Google, Apple, Facebook, or your Email address.

  • Verify your password to access your dashboard.


Step 3: Access the Metaphysical Chapel of Life

  • Once logged in, your dashboard will display sites you are a member of.

  • Select "Metaphysical Chapel of Life".

  • Alternative: If you are not yet a member, click "Got an invite code?" and enter: LK1QNJ


Step 4: Features Overview

The app is organized into several tabs at the top for easy navigation:


Home

Provides a general overview, including the invite code, website link (mchapeloflife.org), and address (9314 Warwick Blvd, Newport News, VA).


Events

Displays upcoming events like Sunrise Meditation and Sunday Services. You can RSVP and add them directly to your mobile calendar.


Groups

Join specific communities such as the "Online Community Group" or "Sunrise Meditation Group" to chat with other members.


Blog

Read recent articles and newsletters. You can like and comment on posts to engage with the authors.


Galleries

View photos from recent chapel events and gatherings.


Step 5: Managing Your Profile

Setting up your profile helps other members recognize you when you interact on the app.

  1. Tap your profile icon in the top left and select "View Profile".

  2. Click "Edit Default Profile" to change your name and photo for all Wix communities.

  3. To edit information specific to the Metaphysical Chapel of Life, click "Edit Profile" within that site's section.

  4. You can add an "About Me" section, pronouns, and a profile photo.


Step 6: Privacy Settings

You have control over how your information is shared:

  • Public Profile: When toggled ON, other members can see you in the "Explorers" tab and message you.

  • Private Profile: When toggled OFF, you will not be listed publicly, and members cannot message you directly (though you can still message admins).

  • Note: Data marked with a "Lock" icon is only visible to site administrators.
