How to turn off (or change) email notifications for online groups

If you've signed up for our Online Groups after creating an account on our website here, you may be receiving notifications after every post, "like," or comment within your group(s).

It doesn't have to be this way!

📩 How to manage notifications

1. Log in to the website or Spaces app (find those options in the website menu at the top of any webpage.)

2. Go to Settings or Account

3. Choose Notifications

4. Turn off any group email notifications you don’t want

   1. if you're using the Spaces app, you'll see "push" notifications as well, which would be those notifications going to your phone; you can turn those off as well.

Note: this is for the notifications through these Groups only; this is separate from our Chapel Newsletter. You can still "unsubscribe" from our Chapel newsletter using the link at the bottom of your newsletter.

PS — there is also currently a "tab" at the top of each group that lists these instructions, as well as a tab explaining the Privacy settings — what "Public" vs "Private" profiles mean on Wix.

• (Basically: all our groups / 'member' areas on Wix are private, not discoverable by the public, without creating an account on our website [MChapelOfLife.org] -- so "Public" here simply means visible to those within our community who create an account. "Private" means that people will be able to see the name and photo you add to your profile when you're sharing within the groups, but will not be able to click on your name / photo to view your profile information, and will not be able to direct message you.)
