The Ceremony of Recognition
Rev. Bill Whitley, President of the Church of Enlightenment and Lead Minister at the Metaphysical Chapel of Life, opened the ceremony with heartfelt acknowledgment. "This is a very special day," he stated, setting the tone for the gathering. The recognition of Rev. Yates is a testament to her hard work on both personal and collective levels.
The Role of a Spiritual Leader
In his address, Rev. Whitley beautifully articulated the essence of spiritual leadership:
"A spiritual leader is one who through their acceptance of the flow of energy and the love of God is able to allow that flow to touch another with this divine potential."
This profound insight captures the essence of what it means to support others on their spiritual journeys.
A Divine Mission
The ceremony included a prayer for Rev. Yates, asking for divine support in her new role:
"May the blessings of Almighty God enter into your heart, that you may fulfill that which today you have undertaken."
As she embarks on this new chapter, we are reminded that the mission for Chapel ministers is to minister and counsel those seeking guidance, helping others to find harmony within themselves.
A New Beginning
Elizabeth Rodriguez, President of the Metaphysical Chapel of Life Board of Directors, and Charter Church Member of the Church of Enlightenment Board of Directors, presented Rev. Yates with her ordination certificate. Rev. Whitley then emphasized Rev. Yates' affirmed role as an agent of God and God's ministering angels. "Go forth, express the gift of ministering and counseling to all who seek your counsel," he encouraged, inspiring all of us to support her on this journey.
Let us celebrate this new beginning and the divine mission that Rev. Mary Elizabeth Yates is undertaking alongside the rest of the Church of Enlightenment and Metaphysical Chapel of Life ministerial team.
May Rev. Yates' journey inspire us all to seek our own paths of service and enlightenment.
