Welcoming a new member: Beth Yates

This past Sunday, Rev. Bill Whitley presented a certificate of membership to Beth Yates during Sunday Services.

If you’ve been around over the last several months, you’re probably familiar with Beth; she’s already been active in sharing her gifts with the Chapel community, volunteering to speak, preside, and serve as message bearer. (Speaker bio included below.)

When reflecting on her membership and the certificate presentation on Sunday, Beth shares:

“I was astonished and deeply touched on Sunday as Bill announced my membership and made the presentation. 

“Though I attended the Chapel years ago in the ’80s and ’90s, my first visit last year was terrific. Everyone welcomed me with open arms, and it was so easy to get to know everyone. As opportunities arose to serve the chapel, everyone was so supportive; this is one of the reasons I decided to become a member of your loving community.”

More about Beth:

Rev. Beth Yates began her journey as a student and teacher of Metaphysics in her early teens,  and her journey continues to this day.  She attended the Chapel as a teenager and grew up in the Memorial Spiritualist Church in Norfolk. Her initial studies in Spiritualism paved the way for a deeper exploration of Metaphysics and the Natural and Universal Laws.

Beth is an ordained minister and a certified medium. She has served the Spiritualist Community as a speaker locally and nationally through the NSAC organization. Her ongoing studies at Delphi University have further enriched her understanding and expanded her repertoire of metaphysical methods.
