She is a Church of Enlightenment certified Healer Practitioner. Susan’s career as a senior program manager with the Department of Defense, spanning more than three decades and two tours in Germany, shaped a lifelong practice of thoughtful leadership and problem-solving, all supporting forward-thinking initiatives. She has been a practitioner of Jin Shin Jyutsu since 2001, along with hypnotherapy, dowsing, and other energy-based healing modalities. Susan brings decades of leadership and a lived spiritual practice to everything she offers. Through her spirit of service, she co-created the Chapel's Spiritual Healing Touch class, helping graduates become Approved Chapel Healers. Sharon Flynn is a Minister with the Metaphysical Chapel of Life and has been a Chapel member since 1994. In 1999, she became a Novitiate Minister through the Metaphysical Chapel of Life and in 2002, she was fully ordained under the auspices of our mother church, The Church of Enlightenment. She has owned and operated Hypnosis and Healing Centers since 2002 locally and in other areas, using her gifts and abilities as a Spiritual Director and Consultant, an Advanced Energy Healer, a Certified Hypnotherapist and a teacher of classes and workshops. Sharon’s prior career in the medical field, as a Radiology Technologist, of 25 years helped shape her natural healing abilities and understanding of the human form. Here at the Chapel, she is our Minister who oversees Spiritual Healing, teaches Spiritual Healing classes, and also facilitates seasonal celebrations at Chapel. She has experienced several NDEs (Near Death Experiences), as well as numerous expanded spiritual experiences that guided her on this path of alternative healing modalities and facilitating change and soul growth for others. She is blessed with three grown married children, two sons and a daughter with four grandsons and two granddaughters.

Brien Egan, CHt, CRM, CKRM is an author, certified hypnotherapist, a reiki master, karuna reiki master, maestro shaman from the Shipibo lineage from Peru, pranic energy worker, crystal bowl sound healer, EFT practitioner, quantum touch practitioner, sedona method practitioner, chakra cleansing teacher, qi gong teacher, an ordained minister from the Essene New Life Church, has his B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Special Education and is the director of the Sound Healing Conservatory. He has been practicing and teaching spirituality for over 21 years. He has done a lot of work with children, families and individuals by leading workshops, classes and through individual or group sessions. He also designed and ran a kid's spiritual summer camp for 13 years which taught children many quantum physics and spiritual concepts, meditation and mindfulness practices. Stanley Maszczak (he/they) is an ordained minister with the Chapel, as well as a military retiree, transpersonal coach, and seminary student whose work is shaped by his journey out of Christian fundamentalism as a gay and gender-nonconforming person. He served over 20 years in the U.S. Army Reserve—during both the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” era and after its repeal—in military police, public affairs, and broadcast journalism, later supporting Equal Opportunity and Harassment Prevention programs. Stanley joined the Metaphysical Chapel of Life in 2018, served on the board of directors, and currently supports the community as a minister and our newsletter editor. He primarily works with Human Design, Tarot, and Akashic Records, and is a lifelong learner with a B.A. in American Studies, a Bachelor of Metaphysical Science, and is currently completing his Certificate in Spirituality and Social Change—the first of three steps toward a Master of Divinity at the Pacific School of Religion.
