Sunrise Meditation (Brian David George facilitating today)

Join us on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings at 6:45am on Zoom for our latest Sunrise Meditation series!

Come in your PJs, camera off or on (up to you!). We do have a regular group of attendees, and visitors are always welcome, whether just once or once in a while.

About today's facilitator: Brian David George grew up as a queer catholic kid in Newport News, and didn’t understand until much later in life that he perceived the world through heightened sensitivity. After moving to Spain in 1998, he found the space and place to uncover his light. A seeker, lifelong learner and playful soul, Brian works mainly in intercultural and diverse environments in international education. He is certified in Intuitive Energy Healing, has studied meditation and coaching, and is trained as an actor. He completed the Inner MBA program, designed to bring consciousness into the workplace. He is passionate about intergenerational healing and hugs.

Approximate Timeline:

6:45 AM - 7:00 AM

Zoom "Doors" Open - Quiet settling with meditation music; check your Zoom connection, grab your journal, pen, water, etc. Jot down an intention or two. Use the text chat to say hello.

7:00 AM - 7:30 AM

Guided meditation (may include body scan, grounding, energy work, visualization, lectio or visio divina, discursive meditation, or another form or approach to the diverse field of meditation. The intent is to have everyone re-grounded by 7:30 in case anyone needs to leave at that time.

7:30 AM - 7:35 AM

Reflective Journaling & Integration
