She has served as a presider, as part of the hospitality committee, supports the pre-Sunday Services healing ministry, and currently serves as the President of our Board of Directors. Elizabeth came to the United States from England when she was 20 yrs old. Her husband at the time was Air Force. They lived in Brooklyn, New York, North Carolina, and Georgia, before going overseas to Germany, and traveled extensively. She then moved to Virginia in 1992 after divorce. She has three amazing girls, many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is a pet sitter & currently has 12 cats. Elizabeth's life partner takes care of them when she is doing one of the things she loves to do: travel. Elizabeth enjoys being around like minded people, and has studied under Loretta Klecz & Rev. Jenny Seeley for Psychic Development & Healing, and Nan Keenan & Laurie Seeley for Shamanic Practitioner training. She looks forward to continuing to learn different spiritual modalities.

He is retired military, former IT Director of The Bionetics Corporation, Business Owner and Substance Abuse Counselor. He is currently employed at the Valley Community Services Board working primarily with people with serious mental illness and/or Substance Use Disorder. He is married to Pam McIntyre (also a Chapel member), a retired English teacher, and they have two adult children and two grandchildren. Jeff perceives his life’s purpose to be inspiring the raising and expansion of Human Consciousness and the elimination of unnecessary human suffering. Jeff believes that freedom is the best and surest path for human advancement, and says: “Freedom is a manifestation of the Highest Levels of Consciousness; dependency is a manifestation of the lowest levels of consciousness.”

Stanley Maszczak (he/they) is an ordained minister, military retiree, transpersonal coach, and seminary student whose work is shaped by a transformative journey out of Christian fundamentalism as a gay and gender-nonconforming person. He served over 20 years in the U.S. Army Reserve—through both the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” era and its repeal—in military police, public affairs, and broadcast operations, later supporting Equal Opportunity and Harassment Prevention programs. Stanley joined the Metaphysical Chapel of Life in 2018, served as Board President, and currently supports the community as newsletter editor. A lifelong learner, he holds a B.A. in American Studies and a Bachelor of Metaphysical Science, and is completing his Master of Divinity at Pacific School of Religion. His ministry centers spiritual growth, inclusive community, and the integration of lived experience with metaphysical and transpersonal practice.

Sharon Flynn is a Minister with the Metaphysical Chapel of Life and has been a Chapel member since 1994. In 1999, she became a Novitiate Minister through the Metaphysical Chapel of Life and in 2002, she was fully ordained under the auspices of our mother church, The Church of Enlightenment. She has owned and operated Hypnosis and Healing Centers since 2002 locally and in other areas, using her gifts and abilities as a Spiritual Director and Consultant, an Advanced Energy Healer, a Certified Hypnotherapist and a teacher of classes and workshops. Sharon’s prior career in the medical field, as a Radiology Technologist, of 25 years helped shape her natural healing abilities and understanding of the human form. Here at the Chapel, she is our Minister who oversees Spiritual Healing, teaches Spiritual Healing classes, and also facilitates seasonal celebrations at Chapel. She has experienced several NDEs (Near Death Experiences), as well as numerous expanded spiritual experiences that guided her on this path of alternative healing modalities and facilitating change and soul growth for others. She is blessed with three grown married children, two sons and a daughter with four grandsons and two granddaughters.
